Prevention

A healthy mouth always starts with a daily care, in the ways known to all and with the "domestic" tools of oral hygiene: toothbrush, toothpaste, dental floss and mouthwash. With the known precautions, made of periodicity and correct use, prevention and oral hygiene can be carried out. As in the case of mouthwash, the excessive use of which can be counterproductive, to the point of ruining the tooth enamel.

However, daily care may not be enough: every 6 months it is recommended to resort to professional cleaning, by contacting your trusted dentist. On this occasion, it is also good to plan a check-up on the health of your teeth, to combat infections and caries in good time. As always, prevention is better than cure.

Simple and easy daily gestures:

  • brush your teeth at least after each main meal to limit the onset of tartar and cavities
  • use dental floss frequently to remove residue that cannot be removed with a toothbrush use mouthwash
  • consume foods rich in vitamins and minerals to preserve not only the teeth, but also the gum tissues
