Veneers in Albania: What Does Esel-Dental Offer?

A veneer is a thin wafer of porcelain that is permanently bonded to a tooth to mask its natural color, shape, or positioning in the mouth. You can get a veneer for just one tooth (let's say you tripped and fell when you were little and now it has a gray cast to it) or multiple teeth. You also have the option to get either get partial (they don't cover your entire tooth) or full (they cover the entire front of your tooth) veneers—it really just depends on your needs

Before you get your veneers, you’ll have a preliminary appointment with our dentist to discuss which options are right for you and how many veneers you want to have placed. In some cases, if teeth are crooked or uneven, you may need to have braces before our dentist can place the veneers.

Veneers aren’t the same as tooth implants or crowns.Veneers cover the front surface of the tooth. Implants, on the other hand, replace the entire tooth. Crowns also encase the entire tooth, while veneers only cover the front surface of the tooth (which is visible with a smile).

What about dental fillings?

Fillings are also used to repair cracked or broken teeth and teeth that have been worn down from misuse.

What steps are involved in filling a tooth?

First, the dentist will use a local anesthetic to numb the area around the tooth to be filled. Next, a drill or laser will be used to remove the decayed area.

Once the decay has been removed, the dentist will prepare the space for the filling by cleaning the cavity of bacteria and debris.
